Cleric accuses Northern Govs. for persecuting Christains.

UMUAHIA—President of the Evangelical Church Winning All, ECWA, Rev. Jeremiah Gado, has accused northern governors of running a policy of persecuting Christians in their states to restrict their freedom of worship.

Gado appealed to Governor Theodore Orji to use his office as the Chairman of South East Governors Forum to reach out to his northern colleagues and preach against the alleged policy.
Gado spoke in Umuahia when he led a delegation of the church leaders on a courtesy visit to the Abia State governor.

According to him, unlike in the South where every religion operates freely, Christians in the north are being denied their rights to practise their faith.
